Dark Matter Theatre company explore the world of grotesque femininity. A place where laughter is cackled and snorted, where beautiful, idiotic flights of fantasy are given freedom, where the imagination is unleashed to roam and hunt its prey. We want people to think about the strangeness of their own thoughts, to enjoy their own stupidity, but most of all to laugh like fools.    

 

An international theatre company created by Jayne Walling and Fauve Alice making theatre in both English, French and silence. They are based in Paris and London and met at École Philippe Gaulier five years ago. Since then they have been working as clowns and actresses across Europe with multiple companies. Now they create theatre together with the help of a large number of wonderful and curious collaborators from across the globe.
